Festival Calendar
Every major festival with its story, rituals, timings, and verified dates — and a countdown to what comes next.
Dates are verified for 2026 and 2027 against multiple panchang sources. Hindu dates are lunisolar — they can differ by a day between regions and traditions; such cases carry a note.
Which calendar do you follow?
The bright fortnight is named the same everywhere. A dark fortnight belongs to one month in the north and to the month before it in Maharashtra, Gujarat and the south — the same night, two true names. Saved only on this device.
