About this mantra
Salutation to Hanuman — chanted for resolve, discipline, and freedom from fear.
Meaning
Om, salutations to Shri Hanuman. His name is read from hanu, the jaw the thunderbolt struck — a mark of the day heaven itself had to reckon with his force. Yet the mantra bows to what he did with that force: placed it, whole, at Rama's feet. The reciter asks for the same conversion — strength that ends in service, courage that knows how to kneel.
When to recite it
Tuesdays and Saturdays — Hanuman's days — and before anything requiring nerve: interviews, competitions, confrontation, night travel. Often counted alongside Chalisa recitation.
