ॐ क्रां क्रीं क्रौं सः भौमाय नमः

About this mantra
The bīja-mantra of Mars, whom the mantra calls Bhauma, 'son of the earth' — the same name the morning graha verse gives him as Bhumi-suta. Jyotisha counts Mangal as the significator of courage, energy, land and brothers.
Meaning
Om — with the seed-syllables krāṁ krīṁ krauṁ saḥ — salutations to Bhauma, Mars, son of the earth. Mars is heat that can build or break. The jaap asks that its edge become courage, stamina, and clean decisiveness — not temper and haste.
When to recite it
Tuesdays; traditionally counted in mangal-shanti, before confrontations that must stay clean, and in matters of land and property.
