Ananyash Chintayanto — Gita 9.22
अनन्याश्चिन्तयन्तो मां ये जनाः पर्युपासते । तेषां नित्याभियुक्तानां योगक्षेमं वहाम्यहम् ॥
Ananyāś cintayanto māṁ ye janāḥ paryupāsate, teṣāṁ nityābhiyuktānāṁ yoga-kṣemaṁ vahāmy aham
Simple reading: A-nan-yaash chin-ta-yan-to maam ye ja-naah par-yu-paa-sa-te, te-shaam nit-yaa-bhi-yuk-taa-naam yo-ga kshe-mam va-haam-ya-ham
About this mantra
Krishna's assurance to the devoted — for those who think of him with undivided heart, he himself carries what they need and protects what they have.
Meaning
Those who worship me with undivided thought — for them, ever united with me, I carry what they lack and preserve what they have. Yoga-kshema is the everyday word for welfare — gaining what one lacks and keeping what one has — and the verse's wonder is who takes the job: vahami aham, I carry. Undivided remembrance is the whole price; the logistics change sides.
When to recite it
For providers and worriers — recited when anxiety about maintenance and security circles; Ekadashi and Thursday practice hold it.
